This policy explains how AvLink uses cookies and similar browser storage, and how you can control them. We keep this to a minimum — we don't use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

What these technologies are
Cookies are small files a site stores on your device. "Local storage" is a related browser feature that keeps small amounts of data on your device only. We use both sparingly, as described below.
What we use
- Strictly necessary — a secure session cookie from our authentication provider (Supabase) keeps you signed in. The platform can't work without it.
- Local storage (not cookies) — your saved jobs, theme choice, and any in-progress profile draft are kept in your browser for convenience; they aren't tracking you.
- Analytics — we use Vercel Web Analytics, which is privacy-friendly and cookieless. It measures aggregate page views to help us improve the platform and does not use cookies or track you across other sites.
- Payments — during checkout, our payment processor (Stripe) may set cookies it needs for security and fraud prevention.
Managing cookies & storage
You can clear or block cookies and clear local storage in your browser settings. Blocking the strictly necessary session cookie will stop you from staying signed in. Clearing local storage will reset your saved jobs and theme on that device.
