Terms of Service

• You must be at least 18 and able to form a binding contract to use AvLink.
• We sign you in by emailing a one-time magic link. Keep access to your email account secure — anyone with it can access your account.
• You are responsible for the accuracy of the information on your profile, including logbook hours, licences, and ratings.

• Don't misrepresent your qualifications, identity, or authority to hire.
• Don't scrape or bulk-extract the platform, post unlawful or misleading content, or attempt to disrupt or gain unauthorised access to the service.
• Operators may only post genuine, lawful vacancies and must honour the terms they advertise.

AvLink is a marketplace. We are not an employer, recruiter, or party to any employment agreement between pilots and operators.

Operator-posted roles are submitted by operators themselves; aggregated listings originate from third-party job boards and are labelled by source. Some listings link out to an operator's own site to apply.

We do not independently verify every operator, qualification, or pay figure, and we do not guarantee the accuracy of any listing. Always carry out your own due diligence before applying, hiring, sharing personal information, or making any commitment.

AvLink includes free tools and guides — the AvLog logbook, its currency and recency indicators, the licence-conversion guides, qualification matching, and pay guidance drawn from listings. These are general information and planning aids, not professional, legal, or operational advice, and they are not a substitute for your aviation authority's current rules or your official records.

Your official logbook remains your legal record of flight time; AvLog's currency indicators are a guide only, and you must confirm recency and licensing requirements against your authority's current rules before flying or relying on them. Conversion requirements and pay figures change — verify with the authority or operator before acting.

• Pilots can use core features for free. Some pilot and operator features require a paid subscription, billed monthly or annually through our payment processor, Stripe.
• Paid plans renew automatically at the end of each billing period until cancelled. You can cancel anytime from the billing portal; access continues until the end of the period you've paid for.
• Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable and we don't provide refunds or credits for partial periods.
• Plan features and prices may change; we'll give notice of changes that affect an active subscription, and price changes apply from your next renewal.

• Pilots get a personal referral link. When a new pilot signs up through your link and adds their logbook hours, you receive one free month of the Captain plan. Months stack if you refer more than one pilot.
• Referral credit is a service benefit: it has no cash value, can't be transferred or redeemed, and simply extends your Captain access.
• Self-referrals, duplicate or fake accounts, misleading promotion, and spamming your link don't qualify, and we may withhold or reverse credit earned that way.
• We may change or end the programme at any time for future referrals — months already credited stay yours.

• We send service emails about your own account and activity — sign-in codes, billing and application confirmations, applicant notifications, and reminders about your profile.
• Recurring emails — job alerts, saved-search alerts, and digests — always include a one-click unsubscribe link, and saved-search alerts can be paused or deleted from your Alerts page.

You keep ownership of the content you submit (your profile, listings, and notes). You grant AvLink a licence to host and display that content for the purpose of operating the platform — for example, showing your profile to an operator when you apply.

The AvLink name, logo, software, and design are owned by us and may not be copied or used without permission.

The platform is provided “as is” and “as available”. We work hard on accurate matching but do not guarantee employment outcomes, the accuracy of any listing or pay figure, or uninterrupted, error-free availability.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, AvLink is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses, or for loss of profits, data, or opportunity, arising from your use of the platform or any dealing with another user.

You may stop using AvLink and request deletion of your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if these terms are breached or to protect the platform or its users.

These terms are governed by the laws of Australia, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules, and you agree to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the Australian courts. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any consumer guarantee, right, or remedy you may have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded.
