The rules are public.
Your route isn't.
Our 48 free conversion guides cover the rules for a route, and they stay free. What they can't tell you is which of those requirements you still have to meet.
- “Do my 1,400 hours clear the bar, or am I short?”
- “Does my instrument rating carry across, or is it a re-sit?”
- “Which exam can I skip because of the licence I already hold?”
- The answer changes with every pilot, and getting it wrong costs months and thousands. So we do that research for you, once, properly, and write it down.
What's inside your plan
Six things, every time, specific to you and sourced from the authority that will actually issue your licence.
Your route, step by step
Every stage in the order you have to do them, because doing step four before step two is what costs people months.
Exams you sit, exams you skip
Your current licence exempts you from some of them. We name which, so you don't pay to sit a paper you never needed.
What your hours already cover
Your logged time measured against the requirement, and a plain figure for whatever is still short.
Medical and English proficiency
The class you need, what evidence is accepted, and where to get both without a wasted trip.
The forms and the verification
Each form named, the licence-verification process explained, and who at the authority it goes to.
Real cost and real timeline
What it comes to end to end and how long it genuinely takes, so you can plan money and leave around it.

Written by working commercial pilots
AvLink is run by commercial pilots, not a call centre. Your plan is researched against the issuing authority's own published rules and written by people who have actually sat the exams, held the medicals and moved a flying career between countries.
It all happens in writing, so you keep something you can re-read, forward and work from. No appointment to book, no time zones to solve.
We map the route and show you the source for every step. The authority issues the licence — our job is making sure you turn up with nothing missing.
Questions
- How is this different from your free conversion guides?
- The free guides cover the general requirements for a route. The plan is written for you: your hours, your ratings, your exemptions, your order of operations, your costs. Most people read the guide first and only need the plan when their own situation is not a clean textbook case.
- What if my route isn't one you've covered?
- That is exactly what this is for, and unusual pairs are the ones worth paying to have researched. In the rare case that the authority has no conversion route from your licence at all, we tell you that and refund you in full.
- Do you issue the licence or deal with the authority for me?
- No. The authority issues the licence, and you submit your own application. Our job is to make sure you arrive with nothing missing, in the right order, with no wasted money on exams you did not need.
- What exactly is the refund promise?
- It covers one thing: if we research your route and find the authority has no conversion path from your licence at all, you get the full amount back. Where a route does exist, we map it and send you the plan — and if you spot something you think we have got wrong, tell us and we will put it right.
- What if my situation changes after I get the plan?
- The Conversion Pack includes follow-up questions answered by email for 90 days. Rules do change, so a plan reflects the requirements as they stand on the day it is written, and every one carries the source link for you to re-check later.
