Who licenses pilots in Cyprus
Training in Cyprus is licensed by the Department of Civil Aviation, under EASA Part-FCL, the common European licensing rules.
The licences, in order

- 2.PPL — Private Pilot Licence
- 3.CPL — Commercial Pilot Licence

The medical
An EASA Class 2 medical for private flying, or a Class 1 if you intend to fly commercially — issued by an Aero-Medical Centre or an approved aeromedical examiner.
